We finally arrived in the DC area after a long trip. But in our new Impala, we were too comfortable to care. We set out first for Chick-Fil-A (which, by the way, was possibly the best fast food experience of our life) and then to Springfield, where we were staying. This whole two weeks we have the pleasure of staying with Rich and Anne McFarland, two of Debbie's (Kelly's aunt) good friends. As soon as we arrived, I knew we stepped into something good. The house is a gorgeous colonial home, Anne opened us with welcome arms, and we have two rooms--one for us and one for the baby. Not only that, but Anne has fed us dinner every night (we're talking steak, corn on the cob, asparagus, and red wine for night #1). Rich and Anne have been more than kind. We're now plotting how we can show enough appreciation for two weeks of generosity.
